Hi Everyone! I received this surprise today and am just so excited to share it with you! Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor (the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice) has sent the following note to Chi Chi Rodriguez saying how much she enjoyed “There’s a Coquí in My Shoe!“

Marisa de Jesus Paolicelli was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and is of Puerto Rican descent. A graduate of Liberty High School, her hobbies and interests include art, theater, reading, writing, decorating, dancing, music, and volleyball. Marisa attended Northampton Area College, and she and her husband, Vincent E. Paolicelli, Jr. D.C., presently reside in Pennsylvania.
